The following links contain important information for HIPAA officers, administrators, and other dental professionals working in offices using telehealth. While the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is not imposing penalties for HIPAA noncompliance in implementing telehealth procedures - this is not a free-for-all. We need our patients to trust that dental facilities continue to hold their health and private information as a top priority.
